Animal Parque Cabárceno
The tip from a colleague was really great: the animal park Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno is a park where you drive through like a safari with the car and then still get out at the enclosures. The enclosures are really huge and you do not get anxiety because the animals would have too little run. I would rather have fewer zoos (in Germany you find almost in every bigger city a zoo) and more zoos in this dimension. The park is located about 18 km south of Santander. The landscape is super beautiful and the snow-covered mountains of the Picos de Europa National Park were always present. The park itself is also embedded in a bizarre nature.
