Dinosaur tracks everywhere
If it weren’t for kids, we would have been sitting in a Café in San Sebastián drinking espresso. Now we have seen San Sebastián only in passing. More by chance we found out that Northern Spain is a real treasure trove concerning dinosaurs. Our oldest is (like probably almost all boys at this age) in dino fever and therefore we drove from our campsite Igueldo to Enciso. One way almost 3h but since it goes through the beautiful Basque country and the wonderful wine region of La Rioja, the trip was great for us too. In Enciso there were a few dino figures and real footprints of dinos. The area there also looked like a dino is actually coming around the corner.
After that we drove to Munilla which is only a few kilometers away from Enciso. The last 2 kilometers were more of a hiking trail and with our lowered old car we would not have come up there for sure. With our new (yet older car) that was no problem. It was definitely worth it to drive up the trail because there were not only many dinosaur tracks, but also a breathtaking landscape.
One dinosaur was even giving us Shaka ?
