On the trail of grandma and grandpa
My grandparents probably put traveling in my cradle: In the early 1970s, they took a coach (neither of them had a driver’s license) from Mannheim to Morocco. On the way, they also traveled through northern Spain. We visited at least two places where my grandfather had also taken a photo.
It used to take hours for my grandpa to adjust all the settings on his camera. By the time he was done, everyone had run out of photo and I can imagine that he had also spent hours working on these two photos. Years ago I digitized the slides from my grandpa.
The first photo was taken in Getaria and the second in Zumaia.
