A little bit of luxus in Helsinki, our day in Mumin World and finally at one place for almost a week
The last step from Tallin to Helsinki was pretty easy with a ferry although I thought it would be more narrow and more complicated to drive with a caravan on a ferry. So luckily it was pretty easy and my worries were unnecessary.
In Helsinki we stayed in one of the best hotels because the hotel from last year (that was the time without our AllaHopetossa) didn’t give us our money back but a voucher. It’s a really fancy hotel, close to the harbour and has a rooftop swimming pool. Because we have been quite a lot of times to Helsinki we only visited some playgrounds and family and friends nearby Helsinki – and of course the rooftop swimming pool.
On our way to Vaasa we made a short stop close to Naantali in order to go to Mumin World. Before having children I didn’t know them and in fact the stories a still not really appropriate for a four and two year one (at least our kids are always afraid) but the the Mumin World was really nice with al the figures, the Mumin House and a theater.
After a wonderful day in Mumin World we drove onwards to Vaasa where we are now staying for almost one week on the camping site (Åminne). The camping site is outside from Vaasa and just close to the sea, although it looks like being at a lake but that’s always the impression in the archipelago.
