It all startet with the question: what is this?

And two days later the wall of the entrance and in the bathroom was gone so the wood behind it had the chance to dry. But let’s start with the essentiell question:

A friend of mine saw this crack in the wall:

and as soon as we used the screwdriver only a little bit it was virtual vanishing in the wall. The friend who asked the question and who was more experienced with caravans immediately knew that we have a problem although we didn’t know yet it was so big. We had humidity behind the wall. So we decided to get rid of the closet (of course not the clock) and after that of the wall. Herer are some before and after pictures.

When we saw that the humidity was not only in the entrance area but also continuing to the bath we decided to remove the wall of the bath as well. In fact we only wanted to reconstruct the sleeping area of the kids but now we had some other jobs to do (which we didn’t knew we were capable). Removing the closet was really hard work but luckily we had a little help of man power and tools.
