Nazare
We both fell a little in love with northern Spain: on the one hand the wild Atlantic and on the other hand the hinterland as well as the architecture almost like the Alps or the Alpine foothills. Very interesting indeed. By the way: Basque is really a funny language. We have tried in advance to learn some Spanish and with the understanding it works a little bit but with Basque no chance. Annika then did some research and found out that Basque is one of the most difficult languages in the world and there is no connection to other languages. Sounds to me as an outsider in terms of language diversity almost like the description of the Finnish language ?
Our next longer stop was then in Nazare where we met a family from our nature kindergarden, which again speaks for such an institution: here gather rather globetrotters and people who prefer alternative lifestyles ? we had a very relaxed and super time in Nazare with a few big waves, beach and many good meals together. So everything that makes a happy life ? only the big waves we just looked at and surfed them (not yet)… ok probably we will not surf such waves in this life ?
