Our way back from Finland to Germany with ferry from Latvia

Coming home from Finland was much quicker than getting there. On our way to Finland we met somebody who told us that the ferry from Latvia is pretty cheap. Luckily this was the case. So we booked the ferry from Liepāja. Normally the ferry should start at 8 o’clock but unfortunately it only started at four clock in the morning. The ferry was more for transportation and only some Vans (most of them extraordinary ones like a huge travel bus plus a trailer or a military truck). The food was crap and after we had our first (extra booked meal) we knew why so many people entered the ship with big cooler of food ?

Because of starting later we naturally arrived later and so it was already too late to check in to a camping site. We decided to drive already some kilometers direction south and to sleep at a motorway service station where they had some additional parking slots only for caravans.
